Just a great weekend in Seattle for food

Seattle Cheese Festival was this weekend, hope you got a chance to experience a great time with wonderful local and international cheeses. The tastings were many and the demos were fun and informative. One of the highlights were selections of cheese from around the northwest with  knowledgeable crews to answer all your questions. The crowds seemed to get around to all the booths and there were plenty of people waiting to get into the Wine Garden.

One of the best things about the Chef demos, you got to taste the results. Chef Daisley Gordon of Campagne and Cafe Campagne demonstrated a Pommes Aligot. By the time he had finished and we all had a taste, we new about him as much as we know about the dish.

Another demo on making Mozzarella, put on by DeLaurenti Food Specialty Food & Wine; was fun and informative. And the taste of the fresh mozzeralla, tomato, basil and olive oil topped off the demo.
